Unlocking the Power of Databases Workshop June 20, 2023

June 20, 2023, 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Databases have been a crucial component of various applications across industries for over half a century. However, their importance is often overlooked in scientific research. The truth is, databases can play a vital role in research activities, and their benefits are numerous.

To help you understand the significance of databases in research, we are offering a 60-minute online workshop. During the workshop, we will showcase how databases can be applied to real-life research problems. You will learn about the various types of databases, their features, and how they can be integrated into your research workflow. To address any questions or concerns you may have, we have an optional 15-minute Q&A session at the end of the workshop.

This workshop will be held Tuesday June 20, 2023 10:00am-11:00am PDT, online by Zoom.

Afterwards, a recording will be posted on UBC ARC’s YouTube channel
