Free RONIN - AWS Cloud Computing Research Training Jan 24 & 26, 2023

UBC Advanced Research Computing is offering a free RONIN - AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud Computing Research Training on the UBC Okanagan campus. This two-day, hands-on course is open to UBC faculty, staff, and students and will take place on January 24 and 26, 2023 from 11:30am-3:30pm.  

No prerequisites are required, though you will need to bring your own laptop, the course will include an introduction to the platform. Learn how to create, secure, and maintain virtual machines as well auto scale clusters, explore storage options and cost-optimization best practices, and delve into HPC (High Performance Compute) and the inner workings of the back-end software stack.
