Research Cybersecurity Training and Presentations

Cybersecurity is a broad topic that can be daunting to many at first. Even those with a desire to know more sometimes find it difficult to know where to start. With that in mind, we have created a menu of ready-to-go research cybersecurity related presentations that are available for in-person or hybrid delivery (as noted) and in a variety of different durations.

Before reading this page

Our ready-to-go presentations provide general information and overall cybersecurity awareness. It is also advisable for researchers consult with an information security professional as part of planning a research project, to discuss the specific nuances of that project. These presentations cover broad concepts about cybersecurity and may not include the deep dive applicable to a specific research project or service.

For assistance, please contact arc.support@ubc.ca

Our team is available to deliver any of these presentations and will endeavour to meet your requested schedule even on reasonable short notice. You may also request a bespoke session covering a specific cybersecurity topic or questions, but these require more advance notice.
