Genome BC Information Session: 2017 Large -Scale Applied Research Project Competition

Genome Canada has recently announced an upcoming funding opportunity – the 2017 Large-Scale Applied Research Project Competition – Genomics and Precision Health(http://www.genomebc.ca/research-programs/opportunities/current-and-upco…). This Competition is anticipated to be formally launched in January 2017 with detailed guidelines and application forms available at that time. In preparation of the expected Request For Applications (RFA) launch in January 2017, Genome BC is planning to hold an info session at UBC Pt. Grey on Thursday, February 2, 2017 - 10:00 - 11:30am at MSL room 102 . Projects supported through this program will be inter-disciplinary in nature and require integrated research on the relevant social, economic, legal or ethical issues related to the genomics research plan. The Genome BC team will also be available after the info session if you would like to speak with them directly to discuss potential project ideas or participation in the competition.
