Who: The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers. You don’t need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.

ECOSCOPE is partnering with Compute Canada to host a two-day Software Carpentry workshop at the University of British Columbia. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation. Participants will be encouraged to help each other and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
