A technical introduction for new users, focusing on system access, job scheduling, and file management.
Protecting Research: Cybersecurity Services and Hygiene
Thursday, Feb 26 | 11:00 am
Guidance on Security Threat Risk Assessments (STRA) and secure data handling. Hosted by the Department of Psychiatry with guest speakers from the UBC ARC Research Cybersecurity and Compliance team.

An introduction to the web-based portal for interactive computing, including the use of RStudio, JupyterHub, and Virtual Desktops on Sockeye.
Introduction to the Bash Command Line Interface

A foundational workshop on navigating high-performance computing environments using the command line.
Introduction to Cloud Computing

An overview of available cloud resources and the institutional process for gaining access.
