UBC ARC OnDemand is a user-friendly graphical web portal designed to simplify access to UBC ARC Sockeye for the research community, powered by the Open OnDemand platform.
ARC OnDemand eliminates the need for command-line access and manual batch script creation, making it easier for researchers to get started with computational work. Through a web-based interface, researchers can seamlessly launch interactive tools such as RStudio, JupyterHub, and Virtual Desktops, as well as a growing suite of genomics applications including Bandage, FASTQC, IGV, MEGA, and UGENE, supporting a broad range of data analysis and visualization workflows.
ARC OnDemand is now available to all current Sockeye users. Researchers interested in applying for a new Sockeye allocation can find more information and submit their application here here.
Researchers who already have a Sockeye allocation can find instructions on how to get started using ARC OnDemand here.
